Hi my son has an audition with Origin Talent this Friday. Not too much info on their website. Anyone have comments good or bad about them?

Origin is fine. They've been around a long time. They're not exactly a powerhouse but the company is legit and they work for their clients. I think they're better for commercials but I could be wrong.

My best to your son!

Thanks SAM! Commercial and print is exactly what my son wants to do. When I first sent out his headshots, I got responses from ABA, Brass Artists, Steinberg, Chic models,Rod Baron, and RPM. So Origin is the first one we will interview with. Whats to expect on this first meeting? Are there any terms that we negotiate with the agency? Aside from the obvious mutual relationship with the agency, what else should we look for in picking the right one? My son is 6 and has one national commercial/print campaign to his credit.

Origin's clearly better than all of the others you listed-if they want you go with them.

Sorry - I don't represent kids so I have no idea how those meetings are run. I'm sure they'll have him read some copy. Just listen carefully and see how it goes. One step at a time...

Origin is good and so is Amatruda Benson and Associates and Brass, well at least commercially.

Steinberg is a joke. RPM has some issues in paying their clients.
