I know this makes me sound like a complete amateur, but I must find out what exactly a post card is to send to a theater company. I just auditioned for a bunch of theater companies and they took my resume for further viewing and we are supposed to follow up with a post card. I'm familiar with cover letters, but I wasn't sure exactly what this was. Thanks

Post cards are basically your follow-up photo you send as a reminder. The 8x10 head shot I like to consider is your initial introduction to that agency, CD, theater group your targeting. Then the postcard is basically your follow-up (as mentioned b4)when you want to let them know about something new that is occuring in your career. The size I believe are 4x6 for postcards.

Go to any reproduction company in NY that prints headshots and they will show you some samples.
