We've submitted to many different agencies and sometimes we hear back (always send SASE) but it's rare. I think the last batch we sent out, we heard about a month after but only from 2 agencies out of a dozen.

Regarding SASE, Self Addressed Stamped Envelope, I believe. Regarding wait time, forget all about them, enjoy your life, and be pleasantly surprised when/if you hear back.

How long should you wait before you move on? One tenth of one second.
In other words, move on right away. Sending out submissions needs to become a success, a finished step in itself. The result is out of your hands. Waiting for the call will just make you nuts. You need to develop this mentality for auditions too. The audition itself is the finished action. A call back is a success. A booking, well, that's just luck! (yes, yes, of course it's talent and work too, but you get my meaning...)
