I've noticed that no one has mentioned the importance of seeking agencies that are either SAG Franchised or members of the Association of Talent Agencies. SAG Franchised agencies protect their clients in a number of ways, but specifically financially, the same with ATA agencies. I wouldn't consider signing my daughter up with any agency that wasn't one or the other.

Just my 2 cents.

I guess you haven't read all the threads yet, but I totally agree with the importance of seeking only state licensed agents! That is why I continue to list the places to find SAG and/or ATA agents.

state licensed dont mean crap. lotta scam places so called "state licensed"..
