Google Zanuck-- you will see a lot of info, although from his old agency.

Personally, I would focus on Osbrink and/or Bobby Ball.

I would also go with Osbrink. I met with Angela Strange a couple of weeks ago..she didn't offer me a contract but by the feel of how the meeting went there are EXTREMELY professional, warm nuturing, caring and reputable. They represent Dakota Fanning and a couple other recognizable talent..really good with kids and young adults..not sure how old you are..they only deal with Adults for commercial rep only not Theatrical..I interned at Bobby Ball..didn't really like them that much and YOU ABSOLUTLEY POSITIVELY 100% DO NOT WANT TO GO WITH MICHAEL ZANUCK AGENCY if his new agency is gonna be ran like his former one -- ZPP.

Thank you guys so much. It's for my daughter who is 5. I have read positive things about Bobby Ball, glowing reports on Osbrink, but the MZA was MIA in terms of current information. I really appreciate it.

osbrink is awsome if you book but if you dont book one job you will get forgotten about even if you book all other jobs you go on i think that they just have so many clients you get lost in the shuffle

That was kinda' what I was thinking too. Maybe we are too litte to be with such a big agency. We haven't been doing this too long and I don't want to go zero to 60 and burn out or get lost. Your post really helped me alot. Thank you.

Batgirl,

Please remember that each individual's relationship with their agent is their own. You may get lost or not get lost at all with any agency you work with. It all depends on your working relationship with the agent and the talent/look/personality/age of your child. Follow your gut feeling and go with which one feels like the best fit.

I know I sound like a broken record, but the books "An Agent Tells All" and "How to Agent Your Agent" are very helpful in knowing how to have a good working relationship with your agent.

All the best in your decision. Smiler

This was true in my son's case. We have just recently signed with Kazarian Spencer and Associates, and personally I have gotten a much better, personalized feeling from them than with Osbrink. Don't get me wrong, Osbrink is a very good agency, but they do have a lot of booking children, so if your daughter doesn't book right away, it is possible she will get swept aside. Hopefully that won't be your case if you do decide to go with them.

Bobby Ball is a great agency - a friend of my daughter's is repped by them. I also recommend Savage - another friend is repped by them. Osbrink has a major attitude problem - my daughter had a meeting there, and Cindy and her sister were actually very rude, which I've heard has happened to other kids. I haven't heard one good thing about Michael Zanuck.

Good luck.

Thanks for that info. I know my daughter thought the 3 agents she met with at Osbrink were very, very nice. So thankfully, no issues there. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about Bobby Ball too.
