I got an invitation to meet and chat for 5 minutes with Debbie from Diverse Talent Group. I was told that I did not need to prepare anything. Has anyone had a meet and chat with them and or knows exactly what a meet and chat might be? I recently had an actual cold read audition with an agency and not aware of anything different than that. Thanks!

Diverse is very good-a lot of working clients-I just mailed to em' a couple weeks ago and haven't heard anything. It's probably just a quick chat; they will see if you fit into their current roster. They may give you a scene but probably not.

Diverse is a great company with experienced agents and an established client list. As a matter of fact, they're the ones who put Sawyer on LOST.

I'm not sure if you're meeting a theatrical or commercial agent but you need to go in with an open mind and just be ready to hang out and talk. If you are meeting a commercial agent, there's always a chance they might hand you some copy to read. If it's a theatrical agent, that's not likely.

Thanks for the feedback! I am meeting with a commercial agent and would like eventually just concentrate on theatrical opportunities. I know they have both so a good thing to see how it works out.

I just got an e-mail from Product Management to attend an "invitation only open call". They will meet my son for 2 minutes. Is this worth my time and what can they get from an 8 year old in 2 minutes?
