hi everyone. i know there was a post from a while back about this woman and her classes and i am still curious. there were very passionate mixed reviews and while im not judging i still am confused as to is she worth the money and time. i went to a seminar there recently but it was not run by her. the next day i receive a call from her about her workshops and that its right for my age etc. the first she offered was around $500, once a week, 7 weeks with a showcase for CDs and agents in the last week. i know i saw other people saying that they were offered that as well. well i have a conflict so i cannot do that workshop, but then she said there is a 2 day weekend class coming up. 1 and a half hours each day, for $300 total. there would be casting directors from the east coast. i think theyd be there helping people and teaching them and just for new actors to get their selves seen and heard from. the thing that made me skeptical was the high price for a total of around 3 hours.. i know i was called by referral so i guess that means something and it wasnt completely random. but does anyone have an opinion or any experiences ? i have no doubt that madelyn burns has gotten kids/adults very good work and helped them out, i am not accusing her of false work/scamming. i am generally curious as to if this is a good idea. thanks !

My daughter has taken a few classes with MB and loved them. No calls yet but she loved the classes. We're scheudled to do a workshop at her studio this weekend but it's for 3 hrs each day sat/sun.
