Has anyone heard of ExploreTalent.com, it seems they have film and modeling castings you can search through. I have heard of LaCasting and nowcasting but this one seems to have more modeling castings as well.

Hi and welcome, newbie t-nutt.

If you click on the search engine (it's the button that reads "FIND" with a little magnifying glass next to it above the postings) a drop down window will appear. Type in Explore Talent, click the check off "only this forum" or something like that, and hit OK button.

I just did and found at least 3 pages worth of links referencing Explore Talent (some were misspelled as "Expore"). The general consensus is to run away from these people but take some time to click and read all the references before making your own decision.

I agree-you might want to stick with the sites you mentioned LA Casting, Actors Access, and Now Casting.

I took a look at their site. My advice is to ignore them and get involved with some of the more known sites - like Actors Access and Now Casting.

Total Scam! They outsource their called from India! When you make a free profile, you'll get a call from someone clearly from India trying to sell you into paying for their services so they can submit you on all these jobs that they have for you.

Exploretalent has been a problem for years. Lots of allegations. Owners in legal trouble, etc. Try this:

The original poster of the thread was Right On! One of the main reasons I enjoy having a membership at Explore Talent is that they collect and offer more auditions than any other site. You can stay away if you want, but there is no debating my decision to join Explore Talent. I have found Explore Talent to be excellent. I know you guys are just looking out for us, but I can personally tell you that I haven't had a single problem. I have gotten work. And Explore Talent has done nothing to me. I submit every time I see an audition that interests me and again, I have read the articles mentioned here but my personal experience has been great. I give kudos to Explore Talent. Just look at the other testimonials:

But how much are you paying them and how often do you "book" jobs?

I don't know why you people get off from posting erroneous information about Explore Talent. Whatever axe you have to grind with Explore Talent you should leave at the door. You're wasting time and space on this great board. If you have been scammed then post the details of your personal experience. Otherwise you sound like children. As I have always said, I have enjoyed my membership with Explore Talent and I have never been scammed. Based on my experience, it's a good company and not a scam.
