What interview are you talking about? There's no interview to join SAG-you just go in and pay your $2335 and there you go-you're in. You just have to make sure they know you're eligible-go on the sag.org eligibility checker and punch your SS# in. If you had 3 vouchers in 2007 it should be there. It's possible they may have missed them so be sure you have your paystubs in case. Investigating SAG vouchers? What's to investigate? The vouchers are good forever, there's no expiration.

i dont know i think i am a must join i did a principle job for law and order yesterday so, i dont know if i am a must join. But it was like a backround type of principle. Like a featured criminal in a mugshot on the show. Iplayed a bro of one of the gangsters. So i dont know.

Omer, Do not be in such a rush to join sag. I would wait until they send you a letter if you have 3 waivers then you are sag e which really is a nice place to be, you can still do non union. Yes, they will check your status when you go to join. As LADelight posted you can go on sag.org and check your eligibility status.

A "background type of principal"? No such thing-you're one or the other. In Aftra they have a U/5 contract, which is a smaller-rate principal contract, but with SAG there's no gray area. If you were on a voucher(even if it was a higher rate than typical bg rate) you were background; if you signed a contract(for at least $759/8) you were a principal.
