thought I would bring it up. I went to Actors Fest back in october and there was a Management Company there. I think they were called AVI or something like that. So I got to audition for them the next day and they really liked me. SO what they do is make you sign a 3 month contract to work together to see if you are good enough i guess. She made me give her 10 headshots and resumes. Since the strike was just starting she said there might not be much work until it is over but still going to try to get me seen in front of agents and casting directors. Then she went to LA and said would contact me when she got back. She even sent me a postcard in the mail from LA saying she was showing my headshots to agents and stuff and that she would contact me when she gets back. Ok so I never heard from her again after that. I even emailed her and she never answered me. So basically I was "with" this management place for like 3 weeks. I just dont get why she never contacted me back. Even if all of a suddent she felt like maybe I wasnt going to work out it is very unprofessional not to contact someone back. The most shady thing about this management company was they werent forcing me to do it but they handed out this 5 day agent workshop thing to everyone that was pretty pricey. Anyone out there know this management company and maybe experience the same thing?
