Doug Bennett of the Don Gerler Agency is absolutely unprofessional and should have been fired by Don Gerler years ago. With that said Doug Bennett has a past that includes calling female actresses up after business hours, this can easily be proven since my roommate was one of his potential victims. Doug bennett tries to use his position to catch and couch females especially petite Caucasian women with blond hair. Believe me i would never make up such a strong accusation about someone unless it were the honest truth. He flirts and does not have the interest of professionalism or for that matter the actors best interest. So if you go to the Gerler agency and you fail to deal with Don Gerler you will be in for a nasty experience with Doug bennett. He should be avoided like the plague that he is.

Doug is a great agent – I had 3 auditions last week and booked one of them (a co-star). He always takes my calls and helps me out in any way he can. I wish I’d found him years ago.

Exactly!! I don't care how many identities he creates here. The proof is in the pudding. His people do not work because he does not work. He's a trust fund kid that does not need the money and he uses this ploy of being an agent to try and get young women. He scams people for stupid stuff just because its in his nature. I know this for a fact. Go away Doug along with all of your fake user names.

Maybe it was a missed opportunity...but I'll take my chances after reading these terrible things and wait it out for someone with a solid reputation. How pathetic that agents behave so badly. I read all this stuff too and I still went in for my meeting. I liked him actually, he knows what he's talking about I think. Hey you gotta take what you can get.

yeh - here is and agency that is open to developing new people - you know WM or CAA would only throw your stuff in the garbage - they have working clients - they cant sign everybody - ive been happy there and with him he takes a ton of time with me and he cares. don't hate the player - hate the game.

WM and CAA are actual agencies. Yours is not. You are a scam and all you can do is post under false names as a "client" of the great Doug Bennett. You are an embarassment!!!

I wish I had seen all of this stuff on how awful Doug is before I decided to give him a chance. He is a Saturday Night Live skit come to life -- the a@#hole agent. He is very fond of placing blame on anyone but himself. If you call him, he will not call you back. If ever he DOES call you back, he will leave a message telling you to call HIM back again. You will do this process for a few months. You will spend way more money than needed on pictures from which he is getting a kickback. He is very fond of telling you, "You are not Julia Roberts and this is not William Morris." Using that line, he justifies treating you like crap, condescending you, making sure you know you're an idiot nobody and he is doing you a favor. Doug does not understand adult communication. Doug does not understand "give and take" and what it means to be professional. He takes pleasure in talking your ear off for hours, berating you, and making sure he takes NO responsibility for anything ever. I have never in my life been treated with such disrespect. I have never dealt with such a child before. This man (if you can call him that) is not to be trusted. If I can save just one actor the heartache, time, and money I spent to have representation with this con artist, it will have been worth it. I don't think of myself as a dumb person. But boy, was I had.
