I'm looking to get into the movie buisness. "oh cool, tell me something i havent heard" Yeah yeah i know, but i've got my eyes on this as a career. I plan on attending the Los Angeles Film School after highschool, which i have 2 years left. I know it's a little early but i want to get a head start! I'm just looking to network, and get advice along the way on what to expect from the industry and the people in it. If you can help, that'd be fantastic!

Thats like attending the NYFA or FullSail. An associates degree will get you nowhere. It's like a junior college or trade school. If you can afford it, get a four year degree. A BFA, BA or BS will at least get your foot in the door.
Don't get me wrong, people make a good living behind a computer doing graphics, editing, sound, etc without a four year degree. But if you can, get a full degree to start because we start looking at the degreed applicants first.
If you are thinking of directing you are up against MFA graduates from NYU, Columbia, USC, AFI, etc. Do you really think a trade school graduate has a chance?

Yeah, that's what alot of people are saying to me. Sounds like that's what i need to start looking into that more.
