We are currently in production on a feature documentary about New York's famous film eccentric Radioman and are looking to interview people who either know and have worked with him or have heard of him and would like to share some of the urban legends that have been created.

If you would be willing and happy to be interviewed on camera and feature in the doc, please email us a brief message about who you are and how you know of Radio and we will get back to you!

Thank you and look forward to hearing from you!

I have never met Radioman (I am LA based...he is NY) but I am a huge fan. I draw inspriation from his story almost daily.

Anyone who has ever been a background extra, or even just got real excited when they saw a celebrity, should be inspired by Radioman's story.

Hi...
I worked on "Cradle Will Rock" in 1998 or 1999 at Madison Square Park. Radioman was there. The crew told me who he was. I really don't have much to say about him except that he knew all that stars. Tim Robbins was directing.

He is someone that obviously capitalizes on his eccentricity and coming across in the guise of a homeless man with his boombox and bicycle.

He appears at various productions and have heard the following about him:

1) that he goes to the NY Mayor's Film office to check out the on-going productions or who has filed for work permits so he can show up there

2) complains loudly to anyone within earshot if he's not utilized

3) supposedly has a website that pushes his 'services'

4) has had production companies contact him for him to show up on set as 'local color' or as a 'lucky charm'.

The photo of him with Johnny Depp is very telling, the body-language. You see the distance and how awkward the pose is?

Radioman is a crazy dude. When ever I work if he pops ups production either put him in the shot, or they throw him a line. lol !! I just have to sit back a laugh sometimes. He's okay with me though. Great gimmack he got though.
