Was in a meeting and rec'd a phone call on my cell phone.
It was a phone call from the casting company that I had booked several episodes with, over a year 1/2 ago.
I still had the number on my phone from then. BUT they left no message. I knew the original casting director that hired me is no longer there. So I was VERY curious of who could of called me.
Even though they left no message, I called the number anyway. I informed the receptionist that someone from their facility had called me, just an hour ago, as their number was on my missed called list on my cell.
She said she was sorry, but she couldn't help me as I didn't have a name.
ARRGGGHHH! So mad that I was in a meeting.

If they wanted you they would be in touch and would have left a message. They may always call back, but you have to realize, it could just be awrong number--otherwise they would have left their contact info.

Sometimes I get that, or someone says (when I call back) that no one from that number called your phone. I figure, if it's important or they really wanted to contact you, they would have left a message of somekind.

Well, it's good that they like you and these things usually turn into jobs down the road. It's all about laying the seeds and developing relationships.
I’ve been hearing a smattering of news and views about the International Academy of Film and Television. Unfortunately, I never got around to visiting the school during my last trip to Cebu. I wanted to see facilities for myself and hopefully get to meet some mentors in the campus. Since i missed out on doing that, was hoping to talk to an IAFT student in this forum? Anyone?
