okay so auditions finally came around. and I did very well. in the end I lost out the role of ismene to a girl who more or less just pulled rank on me. which is okay, it is her last quarter and shes done a lot of theater here before so being second up felt good. I even got understudy.
but we are doing the production in an art nuevo (sp?) style and the choral speeches will involve dancing and i totally pulled off getting cast as the lead dancer. which is actually the part i wanted! ?I havent danced in a while so its time to break out the jazz shoes!
anyhow i was excited. and even if i didnt get a speaking role I felt really good about my audition. I'm starting to get confidence in my ability back that i thought i lost long ago.
ohh and I got cast for the lead in a student film. which should be pretty fun. I'll keep you posted on that one.

Turn out the lights and it's all the same darkness, right?
