Has anyone attended the Corp? Can anyone bring some light to the reputation of the Acting Corp and its Boot Camp program? How legitimate and credible is the corp???

There boot camp is very good if you are a complete beginner if you have previous experience you might want to consider other opportunities... there are lots of other great coaches like Aaron Speiser, Marjorie Ballentine, Alexia Robinson for example the acting corps is all about BCII thats where the real meat and potatoes is but you have to do BCI first.... Yes I am speaking from experience hope i was helpful

I attended The Acting Corps, and I really liked them. The first Boot Camp is all about the basics (as Mr. Redcarpet said), but if you don't know Meisner, I think it's necessary... I would have been lost if I started on the second level, even though my scene work was decent.
That being said, there was a guy in my Boot Camp II class that skipped the first Boot Camp because he had experience. I think they had him do some sort of audition.

I wonder if they are bi-coastal? I'm still trying to see if they have some form of advance type bootcamp here in NYC. Still seeking? But no luck yet ! Anyone... anyone... Bueller... Bueller ? My boy said I should look into this school call Black Nexxus- Susan Batson. She's an acting coach very good I hear (little crazy though lol )but good. But she doesn't have no bootcamp class though.

^^^ That guy is right they are only in Noho on cahuenga blvd... but there is a hostel/boarding home couple blocks from there which is like 650 a month and you can get a discount because you go to the corps

There are several places in NYC that offer "Summer Intensives". They may be over for this year, but if you check out Esper (there are others...but Esper is the one that popped into my head) you should be able to find something. Good luck.
