Hey guys, Haven't been on the boards in a while, hope everyone is doing well I was told to look at a monoluge from 'The Apartment' It's a 1960 movie staring Shirley MacLaine and Jack Lemmon, directed/written by Billy Wilder. Does anyone know where I can find the script? I want to read through it before I begin to work on the peice. Get an idea of the character and a more detailed story line. I know I could watch the movie but I hate doing that when I'm doing a scene or monolouge from a film. Where do you go to get a copy of film scripts? Thanks guys! -Grace

My husband, who is a screenwriter, says you can purchase scripts from scripthouse.com they have more current screenplays. It's a great idea by the way to look for monologues in screenplays.
Hey guys! Found it, thank you--you're all the best I didn't know guys sell scripts on the street in SOHO--I will have to go down there and check it out. Thanks! Grace
