Hey everyone,
I am new to backstage, and wondering if anyone has any information on onesource talent or maybe som of its affiliates. They are interested in signing but for $400 to start and 30 per month after that. Just curious if this is normal or If I should steer clear? Also if you have any other recomendations on local nyc agencies. thanks to anyone who may help!

Google any company along with the term "scam" and see what you come up with.

I'm snarky.

Rule no 1: legit agencies don't charge up front fees. You should check out the "reading" forum here.

$400 just to start! Wow, that scam is even more greedy than most. At least most other scams give you some crappy pictures for your hard earned cash.

Total SCAM!

Yeah, guys, it bears repeating. Never, ever, EVER pay an agency. They get paid when you get paid. The only time you'd ever give them money is for a NOMINAL (maybe $25) amount to be listed on their website or something, but even then, most reputable agencies cover that cost. Nothing from the actor. Read K Callan's books for more info.

I for one would be interested in knowing the name of this agency, just so other's will know to steer clear.
