Tomorrow's my 4? birthday. I am having some feelings about it.

Hey Roz,
I turned 59 last month. I have some feelings on turning 60 with two teenagers.....
Since I usually only do VO work I think I have a wider range of opportunities than if I worked in front of the camera.

My sisters and I send each other bereavement cards instead of Birthday cards. "My deepest sympathy for your loss" etc.
BUT, not everyone gets it...

Happy Birthday, fellow Cancer! I just turned 40 last week, and I'm having issues that I didn't think I would have. But I just looked at your podcast photo and you are a hot, 30ish looking woman!
You know, when I was younger, I used to lie "up" about my age because no one would ever think that a woman would lie older and also I would look just that much better for my "age".
It's all in how you feel!

LOL. THat's really funny about the sympathy cards on the birthday. I wonder if my sister would find that funny.

I get the grey covered on Friday. My sister says i look like Tabitha (sp?) on Bewitched. Now if you know who I am talking about you are probably a in the desperate housewife bin.

I've heard that 40s are the new 30s and your podcast pic. proves it! but I get what you're saying, I'm entering my 30s next month and it gives me feelings too. But, the truth is that as long as we look and feel younger the rest shouldn't matter. Enjoy 'cause you look great.
