YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH!! I never saw anything so beautiful as those black and white faces together- united up on that stage for the very first time ever. It had me in tears. I think I saw Oprah out there and she too was crying. Maybe finally this country can put aside racism, petty differences, unite together to get past all this and become once again the great country it really can be. With so much turmoil in the world, progress and unity and change is what the US needs. I really feel renewed hope for the US and less jaded than I once was. The time has come to get past all self-imposed boundaries and get past the issue of a person's skin color- opnce and for all. God Bless America. God Bless the world. God Bless Obama- God Bless us everyone. You can't know how amazing I feel right now...... I would like to say to poster Don Quixote how right you were about something you posted on another thread. I was watching McCain's final speech and when you see Republicans gathered, it really IS a sea of only white faces. People- watch it and see. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/27545964#27545964 American today is all races- black, Asian, European, Mexican etc. That was the America I saw on tv when Obama gave his speech and ALL ELSE ASIDE that is the America I want to be a part of. Let's please enjoy this day and unite and not get ugly. I believe the USA and its people can get past the hate and be saved. God Bless.

Overjoyed. Amen. If it wasn't for our Darbi I don't think I would have gotten my a$$ in there to volunteer. Thank you D, for showing me that we as artist can participate no matter how complicated our lives are. I love America. I love the world. I chose to become an artist because of my connection to humanity and now I have a president who seems to value our connectedness above all else. with love and respect to all. this was MLK'S DREAM. Funny but I had a dream the night before that people were singing and dancing in the streets and I didn't think it would happen. I thought McCain was gonna win but MY dream came true. THEN, the day after I heard the words I aint heard in a long time, "YOU GOT THE PART" for a role I auditioned for last weekend. THEN, I got a call again from Wesley Snipes people who finally saw my short and loved it and just might have him film a scene with me this weekend. They're trying to clear his schedule. SIGH...
