does anyone know of any performer instensives in NY between now and early june?

singing, dancing, acting (stage, commercial, on camera, whatever)??

i'm home for a while, we just had our layoff extended another week, so i'm looking for something productive to do to keep busy.

any leads or suggestions?

TVI actors studio has a bunch of stuff in NY with industry professional in TV, Film, Theater, Musical Theater- depending on your level and what you are looking for.

but NY is full of programs over the summer! you have no problem finding classes

thanks, but i'll be in china during the summer. i'm looking more immediate, like it needs to end by june 6. we fly back to china to finish the last 6 months of tour on june 7.

You could always try the Shakespeare Festivals by state. The summer stock dates are different for each state but again I'm new to this so I'm not sure how long they last and how much they're going to help your career.

i can look into just about anything. it could help in that i've only ever taken one shakespeare class before and was told i should try it again hehe

I think most intensives are six weeks, so you may have a tough time finding one that fits. When I was looking for one a few years ago, that's what I found. China!! Wow. That sounds exciting.


There are always one-night meet & greets at any of the places around town that do that sort of thing (actor's connection, etc). Good luck!
