I have had an iphone since xmas and got a new one for my birthday. I sleep with it. Not until the app store have I really been able to use it to help my acting career. What are your favorite iphone apps that help you manage your career?

I love using yellow plans feature to map where I am going.

Is anyone using the subway maps apps for NY? Which one is best?

How embarrassing. Am I the only geek? I live for this stuff. Maybe I should concentrate on acting! Then I wouldn't have sucked a$$ in my BK audition yesterday. Well at least I have a callback for a play today. I can go on and on with this because no one is interested in my topic. Booo Hooo.

Thanks. It helps me feel less embarrassed about having stared this topic. But I seep with my iphone so it's an intimate loving relationship. My husband has my old iphone. He's starting to fall for it.

I also love my Kindle electronic book reader it's great for reading scripts that I am auditioning for.

I also sleep with my iphone, Roz!! I love it more than I love, um, almost anything else in my life.

I use the Maps religiously. I haven't found a good subway map yet. But I have to admit, my favorite thing about the new iphone is the GAMES!!! That's what I really missed about my Treo.

I am not the most patient individual in the world. When I am in the waiting room at an audition, having a game to play is the difference between me getting all agitated and pissed off over having to wait or me having a nice brain break while getting to sit still.

Question about the iPhones/Crackberries: is there a way to send a message without the message "Sent from my iPhone" or "Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry"?

On the iphone go to "Settings" then go to "mail, contacts, calendars" scroll down until you get to "signature" there you will be able to change the message.

I'm still saving up money for an iPhone Smiler
My sister has one - and yeah, she walks with it, she eats with it, and she sleeps with it.

Tally,

You get the apps in the itunes store. There's a new section called APPS. Click on it. There are so many fun things: I like Jott, evernote. They are great for recording information really fast.

My fav game is Aurora Feint the beginning.

Let me know which apps you love.

Ok, if you promise not tell anyone, I love the Brain Tuner free app for the iPhone. How fast can you answer 20 simple math equations? It is great for passing/wasting time...um, I mean "tuning my brain" while my kids audition...

Sincerely,
Another Apple iPhone Geek

There's another one called "Pop Quiz," which is similarly well-suited for killing time in waiting rooms. Smiler

You are WAY ahead of me. No I-Phone here.

I have a phone on wich I can place and receive calls, and that's about it.

I really love iZoho iZoho, which is kind of like an office suite with spreadsheet and word, iZoho Expense View so you can enter your expenses right into your phone (so you don't forget like I always do!) and iZoho One Trip Shopping List.
