Here is an entire thread about going to itunes, hulu, this site and that to watch a show. Great for study, but, we get paid zilch for those viewings. This is exactly what we are fighting about. Jesus...this is it in a nutshell.

Could it be any more clear?

Clear as mud.

Am I the only one who finds your syntax and sentence structure so poor that I can hardly understand what you're attempting to say?

Hit me back with something intelligible, and I'll be happy to respond.

???

You honestly do not understand the above post? C'mon Robert, give me a break. Let me explain, then. Nearly every post in this thread recommended watching SVU (a great show I have guest starred on a few times) on itunes, hulu, or other WEBSITES. For these streamed viewings, we get paid zilch (nothing). This is exactly what we are fighting for, is it not? Fair pay for new media? You are in SAG, are you not? Please tell me you understand, because you seem to get it elsewhere as you recommend a no vote.

Could it be any more clear?

By the way, it's you're not your , if we're nitpicking; which you seem to be doing. But that's okay; I won't wait for you to use proper verbiage to respond.

The last time I checked, this topic was about the great acting on SVU, not a place to continue the ongoing debate on SAG contract negotiations. New Media issues are not the subject of this thread, and I am certainly NOT one of those who "recommended watching SVU on itunes, hulu, or other websites."

Excuse me if I don't have the time to watch TV shows on an ipod, twitter to friends, or spend all day surfing websites. Contributing to this board is my only "guilty pleasure," and I hope that my posts offer something more substantive than playing my with my ipod on the subway or "under the bus."

You discovered a typo Dawg, good for you. I doubt that neglecting to add an apostrophe to "you're" is going to alter my message to any intelligible, discernable degree, do you?

P.S.-- You stated that you "Guest starred a few times" on SVU. Which episodes?

True. However it is relevant to the current atmosphere in the acting world, and a clear real world example of how this happens, and how we are not compensated. This thread can continue, and, no doubt will, because JB is not going to miss an opportunity to promote his teaching style.

Please do continue this thread, which was ripped from the headlines...of the forums...SIX MONTHS AGO.

Leave out the petty syntax critiques, because, last I checked, this thread also is not about syntax. Or, at least be honest from the start and ask not to deter from the point of the thread, (a thread that was started 6 months ago) rather than acting as though the post was unintelligible. Which it wasn't.

I never miss an episode!

Yes, I did. It's not often that you see an episodic that contains anything at all containing references to horrific African atrocities. Many SVU's are pretty grisly, but this one was particularly disturbing.

I've always been a big Cicely Tyson fan since I was a kid, and I only wished they would have used her more...
