I would like to know once you are hired to do a job for a project can they minimize the pay if they feel you were not what the project was looking for? I fit the descriptions of what the project was seeking...

what? you do the job and get less cause they say oh you didn't do that much. Uh. NO.

That happens all the time. You do less than what was first thought of for whatever reason. This does not/should no affect your pay. Nothing should affect your pay after the fact. Many times as an extra you show up and don't get used but you are paid for your time no matter what.

Good luck with resolving the issue. That's why contracts are nesseccary. Even for a simple agreement when you are not union.

Yeah, the problem with print is that it's the wild west. No unions. No rules. Even when you book something through an ad, you should get your (or a friends' if you don't have one) agent to look it over and communicate with them. They're less likely to scr*w you if you have representation on the job.
