Hello. I aspire to someday be a voice actor. I just wanted to know how you could get started. Obviously a good start would be to get into theater and stage acting, but where do I go from there?

Hey, check out my post in this section about great voice-over schools in NYC. Since you live close by, it could be worth it for you to travel and get into some good introductory voice-over classes. After you've taken a beginner class, its up to you to decide whether or not you would like to do private coaching, because eventually you will need a voice-over demo (or various demos for commercial, animation, narration, audiobooks, and other types of voice acting).

A really good demo is what's going to hopefully land you an agent for voice-over work.
