Is there a different technique between acting and v/o acting? I'm sure there is. What it is? Is there a book that can explain before I take classes.

Actually, you should be a really strong ACTOR in order to be a really strong VOICE ACTOR.

Because you're not on-camera in voice acting, you really have to learn to bring out your emotions in your voice. It's not just "reading the words on the page," it's being able to ACT the words on the page.

That's the technique. At least, that's what I've learned form studying voice acting so far =].

You have to learn how to use vocal sounds, inflections, and timing to successfully translate the emotions of your script.

That book I recommended to you, "The Art of Voice Acting," is supposed to be really great on this subject. I think I'm gonna buy it too so that I can learn as well.
