Steel Magnolias : When Sally Field is at her daughter’s funeral and she breaks down.

Titanic: When the boat is sinking and the band continues to play, the old couple hold each other in bed, and the mom is sitting on the bed with her children.

Castaway: When Tom Hanks is making his final escape and he loses Wilson in the sea.

Beaches: The last half of the movie when Barbara Hershey is dying.

Braveheart: When Mel Gibson is being tortured and as he’s dying, he sees his wife coming for him. I have to add Passion of the Christ as well, that whole movie made me cry.

1) Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon -- when Chow Yun Fat's character is dying in Michelle Yeoh's arms in the cave and he proclaims his love for her. Their characters had loved each other for many years and just never stated outright they did. I found the line on IMDB:

Li Mu Bai: I would rather be a ghost drifting by your side as a condemned soul than enter heaven without you... because of your love, I will never be a lonely spirit.

2) Titanic - when the character Jack dies and the character Rose has to let him go and his body floats down. the other scene is when she meets with him in "heaven" back on the ship with everyone who had passed on.

3) Beaches - the dying scene

can't think of any further but will post when I do...

I dunno if I have 5 scenes but I can think of...4.

1. Sophie's Choice: The choice scene. I'm not going to say what it entailed, but that broke my not crying at a movie cuz I'm a man streak for 15 years.

2. Juno: When Jennifer Garner is in the mall and touching the preggo eggo. I'm adopted, it made me think of my mom when she first met my birthmother.

3. Click: Yeah yeah I know. Adam Sandler made you cry? Well, he did, whenever he dies and the kid cries over him. I choked up cuz it says that even though you were a douche bag, you're still my father, and I love you.

4. Milo and Otis: I don't remember when I cried during this movie cuz it was a LONG time ago, but I definitely did cry when one of them was split up with the other one.

1- Beaches, the death scene- "Did you ever know that you're my hero" the music swells.

2- Edward Scissorhands with the snow as mentioned. That music is in my head right now.

3- Titanic with Jack letting go- agreed. I was almost hysterical.

4- The Wrestler- that scene with his daughter.

5- Benji the Hunted when he dies

Any film where an animal or someone or lovable dies I will cry- always always always. I cried in Godzilla!!!!

Unfortunately I cry to music videos more often than I do films so here they are

1. M - Ayumi Hamasaki (I love the Virgin Mary, and it was ending a chapter of my life from middle school to high school)

2. Hurt - Christina Aguilera (reminded me of my dad, but not really)

3. Take on Me - AHA (the guy is hot... so whatever, plus I spoke to the model in the video right after that so i have a real life connection... and he was hot)

4. Poker Face live MUCH AWARDS- Lady Gaga (don't ask why I cried to this ok; Well I'll tell you, this is when I realize that I saw the makings of a star to a superstar right in front of my eyes, from the beginning of her career since I knew of her way before everyone else did like in August of 08. Then this happen, and it was like OMG she did it!! Right after that she was a superstar)

see; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjiAdP4Zm8A

5. True Colors - Cyndi Lauper (I was depress this day)

there they are

1) The ending scene in FINDING NEVERLAND when Kate Winslet's mom is on the couch watching the "scene" play out

2) The scene where Robin Williams can finally see the feast at the dinner table in HOOK.

3) When Rocky Dennis has all his sad moments in his room in MASK...especially when he is about to die.

4) When Hooch dies in TURNER AND HOOCH

5) When Gena Rowlands and James Garner lay down to "go to sleep" at the end of THE NOTEBOOK

1) Armageddon - When Bruce Willis is saying his goodbyes. So sad Frowner Tell me this doesn't move you. This gets me every single time.

Harry's Goodbye

2) Schindler's List - After saving 1000's of lives, Liam Neeson (Schindler) breaks down saying he could have saved more, if only he had led a better life.

Schindler Breaks Down

3) Titanic - when the band stays with the ship. Extra tug at the heart strings since I was a band nerd in high school.

4) Marley and Me - when Marley is about to be put down. There are few things harder than sitting there telling your dog that everything will be ok, how much you love them, and how wonderful they are for the last time.

5) Cast Away - when Tom Hanks loses Wilson I get a bit teary-eyed.

Wilson Lost at Sea

Basically anything where someone has a farewell, knowing they're about to die; a lovable animal dies; or the world is united for a moment... it's usually the music that tips me over the edge. I'll be able to hold it back, but then some violins, piano, and or a choral voice or group comes in and I can't stop it.

The Lion King--when Mufasa dies

The Color Purple--too many scenes to name (but the one where Celie's kids comes home is #1 tear jerker)

Roots--When Kunta Kinte finally says his slave name is "Toby"

The Fox and the Hound--when the old lady takes the fox and drops him off in the woods

Malcolm X--when Malcolm gets shot up at the end
