Gamecocks/Tigers (My big bro played baseball for South Carolina plus my stepdad went there and it's the most intense I've seen.)

This doesn't constitute a true rivalry and I wasn't even born yet, but the funniest single game I've heard of was the South Carolina Gamecocks vs. the Southern Cal Trojans in 1983. It was billed as the battle for the title of "The Real USC." Making things even more bizarre was the fact of one USC being the Gamecocks with the name most commonly being shortened to "The Cocks" and, obviously, the other being "The Trojans." It was played in South Carolina and you can probably imagine the signs, etc. brought into the stadium. "No Trojan can hold our Cocks for 60 Minutes!" South Carolina won 38 - 14. They haven't played since ... LOL
