I just stay away from Geno's and Pat's, politics and CheeseWhiz aside.
Ishkabibble's? I'll just try that because the name is awesome!!
God, I love food......
Well at Tony Luke's you can get more than just cheese and onions as a sandwich. They do have a couple of vegetarian sandwiches on their menu that could be just the ticket for you Zippy!

Ive heard good things about them.
What about Jim's??? Thats where i went last time and it was pretty good!
Give Ishkabibble's a try. It's on the other side of the street, about half a block away from Jim's. The front of the store sort of looks like a deli or one of those NYC magazine/newspaper stores with the sodas and drink coolers in the back. The chicken cheeesteak was long, not as thick as a beef cheesesteak, but well put-together. The cheese and the chicken were married together so that every single bite you take you get chicken, cheese and onions. Fantastic! Highly Recommend Ishkabibble's!

Jim's cheesesteaks are fantastic! I prefer Jim's over Pat's or Geno's. There's also a really good cheesesteak place in Olde City on Market St. I forget what it's called, but it's between Front and 3rd (I forget exactly where, but I always recognize it) and it's on the south side of the street. YUM!!!!!
