In the spirit that we can not have too many food related Top 5 lists!

1) Meatloaf
2) Mac and Cheese (any of the Kraft variations with the Velvetta pouches will do)
3) Citrus Sunshine (A shake made with OJ and vanilla ice cream - I also mentioned it in the Ice Cream thread)
4) Creamy coleslaw
5) Maximum Strength Cool Mint Mylanta (Particularly after the above mentioned meal! - It is most comforting to swig it from the my own personal bottle.)

Pardon me if I fall asleep on the couch now.

Oh wait, I thought of one more: Thanksgiving dinner.

I agree!

1. Chicken Noodle soup (specially when I have the cold or flu and only home made)

2. Tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich (cold rainy days)

3. Buttery creamy mashed potatoes

4. potato chips, tortilla chips and dips (great when depressed and bored sitting in front of the tv in my underwear and don't want to answer the phone or e-mail day)

5. Chocolate (cookie, cake, pudding, flan great after a break-up)

i'm sick right now so i can't eat anything today and i'm not even hungry but i could really go for some potato soup before i go to my job where we try to kill the souls of "at risk, disadvantaged" middle schoolers in an after school program where we make them do homework quietly for an hour right after school and then give them an inadequate snack that they are supposed to eat while quietly seated without making a mess for 15 minutes and then they get to play, and the whole time we adults insist to one another that the kids are only pretending not to understand and speak english perfectly, even the ones who just moved to this country and totally don't.

boy oh boy, the things i will do for a dollar. it's sad. woe is me.

2: dulce de leche ice cream
3: poke and pour cake
4: potato soup which is homemade and not from a fast food restaurant (i know, i know.)

What in god's name is a "poke and pour" cake? What exactly are you poking and what are you pouring?

ahahah, yes, momactress, that sounds good.

For me those Valentine's type chocolate are the best!

A bowl of Cocoa Puffs (cereal). A bowl of Cap'n Crunch.

A Philly Cheesesteak

Pancakes

Swedish fish candy (just the red ones)

M&Ms (not the peanut ones as much as the plain)

Peanut Butter and Jelly.

Rice pudding with lots of cinnamon.

Now, if you'll excuse me I have to eat the refrigerator...
