My choices exactly, GE&H.

I'd like to add a few more, though.

Honorable mention to Kirk Douglas in 1956's "Lust For Life," as Vicent Van Gogh. He nailed the part.

"Elvis," starring a jump-suited Kurt Russell, he set the standard for Elvis imitators everywhere.

And "Good Night, and Good Luck," with a superb David Strathairn as Edward R. Murrow. George Clooney continues to produce films of surprising social relevance and commentary.
